The idea to compose the set visible above has been with me for a long time. Starting from the first Chinese production of the set to a complete departure from this idea in favor of chest riga and a rigid belt. I was looking for a solution that would be most adapted to my needs and the requirements I set for such solutions.
The most important for me were the following parameters:
- Price per product
- Reliability
- Somehow the materials used
- Convenience of use
- Possibility to install as much equipment as possible
- Proper execution
- Adjustable belt and customizable
Each of the above conditions M-Tac product met 100% or even more. Of course, the belt itself is not everything together with the belt I chose yet:
- Canteen
- Handle for canteen in molle system
And that’s how I started working on this set. Currently, as you can see in the picture above from the waist, canteen, the handle for the canteen in the molle system has grown to the final setting of pouches, pockets and other accessories.
Currently, I have things from different manufacturers mounted on the belt, of course, I suggested the quality of products and their availability on the market. To take full advantage of the possibilities of the assembly platform that the belt gives us, I used products such as:
- Pouch for 6 magazines
- Flashlight pouch
- Two fast pouches
- Dump bag
- Admin pouch
- Pouch for canteen
- Tactical bag
- Holster
- Braces in total assembly H
- Bowman Evo Headset
- Glock knife
All things from the above list hold very well on the belt, I had some concerns about the laser cut technology – in this case this is my first contact with this solution and I think that it is a mega alternative to standard molle mounts on belts or other parts of equipment, given the biggest plus or low weight, no protruding threads, It is not washed, as is very often the case in standard solutions, especially at manufacturers who use materials of lower quality.
The belt is made of high quality Cordura 500D material – a super-durable fabric resistant to abrasion and heavy loads. Inside there is a cushioning mesh that reduces the likelihood of pressure and provides good ventilation. Additional 4 buckles allow you to attach the harness.
The arrangement of the pouches on the left side, all pouches stick very well molle cells very nicely work when assembling pockets. I have standard solutions here:
- two pouches for pistol magazines,
- pouch for six magazines for AR-15 platform,
- dump bag,
- Fast pouch on molle panel above dump bag
- Glock knife
- Admin pouch -for now I keep the radio in it
On the right side we have the aforementioned admin pouch, pouches for a canteen with a canteen and a holster for a gun.
In my opinion, the harnesses in the H mounting system are the most comfortable for me, especially when wearing the equipment on my back for a long time. The current installation of cables for the headset is already tailored to my needs, there is no situation in which one of the cables is too short or too long.
In conclusion, I will add a few more observations about this product.
The whole set was tested in different weather conditions, in different terrain and now nothing will be changed, the comfort of use is at a very high level, nothing rubs, no pregnancy. All pouches are held in place, there is no problem with access to individual pieces of equipment, molle cells are very well made, nothing sticks out, nothing sticks out. The whole belt design is very comfortable for long-term wearing.
The price is very attractive considering the quality of the product and its performance. M-Tac products have always met my expectations, especially that in the case of equipment I am very picky and quality is always in the first place for me.
With full awareness, I can recommend this product to all people who would like to start their adventure with this type of equipment.
